Especially as winter fades into spring, residents of the Mountain West herald the sight of a bluebird as a sign of renewal and returning warmth. Perhaps its status as harbinger of the changing seasons is one reason Idaho selected it as the State Bird. Itâs certainly one of the reasons that inspired Idelia Labra to name her custom handcrafted jewelry company Blu Bird & I.
âAs someone who was born and raised in Idaho, we know that the bluebird is our state bird and represents us. The more I looked into it, I realized that it also represents joy and hope. I loved that sentiment. And the âIâ stands for my name â Idelia,â she explained.

All-electric cars accounted for about 60 percent of those sales and plug-in hybrids the remaining 40 percent.
That sounds like a lot. But itâs just a fraction of the sales of vehicles with internal combustion engines (ICE). âPlug-in electric cars accounted for just under 1 percent of all 146 million new light-duty vehicles sales between 2011 and 2019,â according to USAFacts.
